About Know Your Careers

Know Your Careers (KYC) is partnered with Design Innovation Centre (DIC)-BHU, DIC-IIT(BHU) and an IIT Kanpur-backed startup, recognised by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC), dedicated to bridging the gap between students and career opportunities and developing innovation ecosystems in schools as well as colleges. We work closely with schools, educators, industry experts, and institutions to make quality career guidance accessible to students across India.

Our Programs

Know Your Careers runs student-focused innovation and entrepreneurship programs including the Young Innovators Launchpad, KYC Idea Tank, and Young Innovators’ Cohort, designed to take students from problem discovery and ideation to prototyping, pitching and venture building. These initiatives are developed in collaboration with the Design Innovation Centre (DIC), IIT (BHU) & BHU, with alignment and support from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Government of India.

Position

- Business Development Associate (Founder's Office)
- Mode: Remote
- Duration: 3 Months
- Working Hours: Monday–Saturday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Freshers/Final year college students can apply

Key Responsibilities

- Reach out to schools, colleges, TPCs via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other channels.
- Present Know Your Careers and its initiatives to representatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with principals, coordinators, and administrators.
- Schedule meetings between interested institutions and the leadership team.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to nurture partnerships.
- Maintain accurate outreach records and update the CRM.
- Coordinate with internal teams for seamless communication.
- Represent Know Your Careers professionally in every interaction.

Roles & Opportunities





- Hands-on experience in public relations and professional outreach.
- Practical exposure to business communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Opportunity to work closely with the founding team of a fast-growing EdTech startup.
- Internship Certificate upon successful completion.
- Letter of Recommendation for outstanding performance.
- BDAs, upon exemplary performance, shall be promoted to Senior BDA level along with incentive opportunities.

Who Should Apply?

We're looking for candidates who:

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Are confident speaking with professionals over calls.
- Possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Can manage follow-ups and maintain accurate records.
- Are interested in education, public relations, outreach, or business development.
- Have a stable internet connection, a laptop, and a smartphone.

Expectations & KPIs

- Target: 150 verified registrations/month for the full ₹8,000 stipend.
- Drive registrations through outreach, follow-ups & conversions.
- Maintain accurate lead and registration records.

Internship & Stipend Structure

- Week 1: Onboarding, training & project orientation.
- Minimum Stipend: ₹2,000/month, considering the time commitment and work involved, upon successful completion of the month.
- Performance-Linked Payout: Stipend increases with registrations achieved, up to ₹8,000/month.
- Example: 50 registrations = ₹4,000 stipend.
- Additional Incentive: 2% bonus for every 100, 200, 300 registrations achieved.
