Do you enjoy working with processes, maintaining accurate records and making sure things are done right?

Laurus Education is seeking a highly organised and analytical Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer to support our Australian education operations.

In this role, you'll work closely with our Australian Risk, Quality Assurance and Compliance team, helping maintain high standards of documentation, audit readiness and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in quality assurance and gain valuable international experience in a regulated education environment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conduct routine compliance and quality checks using established procedures and checklists.
- Review student records, assessment documentation and training files for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with internal audits, evidence gathering and document preparation.
- Maintain compliance registers, policy records, review schedules and document version control.
- Track audit findings, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow up on outstanding actions and escalate identified issues.
- Prepare transparent, concise reports and compliance updates for Australian management.
- Work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams to collect required documentation.

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance,



auditing, document control or a related field.
- A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Advanced organisational and recordkeeping abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and document management skills.
- Excellent written English and the ability to prepare professional reports.
- A high level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.

Highly regarded:

- Experience in education, training or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of Australian vocational education and training (VET), RTO compliance or ASQA requirements.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, audit systems or quality management tools.
