Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced AC Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, preventive maintenance, electrical components, and refrigeration systems. The candidate must be capable of identifying faults, performing repairs, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of AC units.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in AC units, including split ACs, window ACs, and central air conditioning systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure efficient equipment performance.
- Check refrigerant levels and identify refrigerant leaks.
- Repair or replace compressors, motors, thermostats, capacitors, filters, and other faulty components.
- Clean air filters, evaporator coils, condenser coils, and drainage lines.
- Inspect electrical wiring, control panels, and other AC system components.
- Perform refrigerant charging and recovery in accordance with applicable safety and environmental requirements.
- Monitor AC performance, cooling efficiency, and energy consumption.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests.
- Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety procedures and company standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in valuable working condition.




- Coordinate with the maintenance team and report major faults or replacement requirements to the supervisor.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an AC Mechanic or HVAC Technician.
- ITI, Diploma, or vocational training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is preferred.
- Good knowledge of split ACs, window ACs, and commercial HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, refrigerants, compressors, and cooling systems.
- Experience with AC installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to use HVAC tools, gauges, multimeters, and leak detection equipment.
- Understanding of electrical safety and refrigerant handling procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Physically fit to handle equipment and work at heights when required.
