Data Engineer (Azure, Snowflake & dbt)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure, Snowflake, and dbt to design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data pipeline development, data transformation, cloud-based data platforms, and data warehouse optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Build and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Develop, test, and maintain data transformation models using dbt.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses.
- Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and transformation logic to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse performance, and resource utilization.
- Work with Azure data services to support data ingestion, processing, storage, and orchestration.
- Develop and maintain reusable, modular, and well-documented data models.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.




- Collaborate with analytics, BI, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable datasets.
- Follow best practices for data governance, security, version control, and deployment.
- Monitor pipeline performance and ensure data availability, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills

- 6–9 years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Expertise in SQL and data transformation techniques.
- Experience developing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
- Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, and data quality validation.
- Familiarity with Git, version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data architecture and contemporary data stack practices.
- Experience with data orchestration, monitoring, and governance.

Pay: From ₹1,200,000.00 per year
