Job Purpose

To independently manage the procurement of electrical panels, electrical components, and project-related materials for EPC projects, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of LT/HT panels, PCC/MCC panels, APFC panels, distribution boards, and associated electrical components, including MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, meters, busbars, cables, and accessories.
- Understand BOQs, technical specifications, electrical drawings, and material requisitions to ensure procurement meets project requirements.
- Identify and develop vendors, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Prepare purchase orders, obtain necessary approvals, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, stores, accounts, and site teams to address material requirements and resolve procurement-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in purchase/procurement,



preferably in an EPC or electrical engineering company.
- Practical knowledge of electrical panels, switchgear, and associated electrical components.
- Understanding of BOQs, technical specifications, electrical drawings, and project-based procurement.
- Strong vendor negotiation, commercial evaluation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience : 4-5 years
