Sai Techno Solutions Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester with experience in both Manual and Automation Testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications and software products. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, bug tracking, and automation testing tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of web applications, websites, mobile applications, and software products.
- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and UI testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using suitable automation tools.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
- Perform API testing and basic database testing wherever required.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, and testing progress.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and product quality reviews.
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.

Required Technical Skills

- Manual Testing: Strong understanding of test case preparation, test execution, defect reporting, and bug life cycle.
- Automation Testing: Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, or another programming language relevant to the automation framework.
- API Testing: Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.




- Bug Tracking: Experience with Jira, ClickUp, or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Database Testing: Basic knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.
- Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, browsers, and client-server architecture.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git/GitHub is an added advantage.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of practical experience in manual and automation testing.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify edge cases.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple testing tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in testing web applications and responsive websites.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Experience in performance or security testing is an added advantage.
