Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Shuttering Carpenters to prepare, assemble, install, and dismantle formwork used for concrete structures. The candidate should have practical knowledge of shuttering work for columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and walls while following construction drawings and site safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and dismantle shuttering and formwork for concrete structures.
- Prepare formwork for columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and walls.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit timber, plywood, and other shuttering materials.
- Work with steel formwork, aluminium formwork, and modular shuttering systems, where required.
- Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, and site instructions.
- Ensure formwork is properly aligned, levelled, supported, and secured before concrete pouring.
- Check joints and gaps to minimize concrete leakage.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, steel fixers, and concrete workers.
- Maintain tools and equipment and minimize material wastage.
- Follow PPE requirements and all applicable construction-site safety rules.

Required Skills





- Hands-on experience in shuttering and formwork carpentry.
- Knowledge of measuring, cutting, levelling, and alignment.
- Ability to use carpentry tools and equipment safely.
- Understanding of formwork for beams, columns, slabs, and foundations.
- Ability to work in a team and follow supervisor instructions.
- Physically fit for construction-site duties.

Educational Qualification

- Minimum qualification: 8th / 10th pass preferred.
- ITI in Carpentry or relevant vocational training is an advantage.
- Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications, depending on project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

- Experience in construction or civil engineering projects preferred.
- Willingness to work at project sites and in shifts, if required.
- Ability to work at heights where necessary, subject to appropriate training and safety precautions.
- Must follow site safety procedures and quality standards.

Preferred Candidates

- Candidates with experience in high-rise buildings, bridges, commercial buildings, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with aluminium formwork, steel shuttering, or modular formwork systems is an advantage.
