Role & Responsibility-
1.Analyze raw crude oil and incoming process chemicals (such as water, salt, sulfur content, and density) to prevent equipment corrosion and downstream processing issues.
2.Test intermediate refinery streams during distillation and conversion stages (using gas chromatographs, viscometers, and flash point testers) to verify proper boiling behavior and chemical composition
3.Ensure the laboratory and plant procedures meet accreditation standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 and regulatory bodies (e.g., DGCA for aviation fuels)
