About the Role

Onroad is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations at our Malappuram office. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling transactions, and supporting statutory compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily books of accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments
- Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers and invoices accurately
- Handle bank reconciliation and cash management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on outstanding payments
- Prepare GST invoices and assist with GST returns and filings
- Support TDS calculations and other statutory compliance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports
- Coordinate with management, vendors and auditors as needed




- Maintain proper documentation and ensure records are audit-ready

Required Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role
- Working knowledge of Tally (Tally Prime / ERP 9) or similar accounting software
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good attention to detail, accuracy and integrity
- Basic communication skills in Malayalam and English

Preferred Skills

- Experience in a showroom, automobile, trading or service-based business
- Familiarity with inventory and billing processes

Working Conditions

- Full time position, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Based at our Malappuram location

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
