Job Summary :

Nucleus International School is seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced Cambridge Primary Science Teacher with hands-on, real-time experience in implementing the Cambridge Primary Science Curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent English communication skills, formal writing proficiency, and the ability to deliver engaging, inquiry-based science lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific exploration among students.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver Science lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.

- Demonstrate practical experience in implementing Cambridge Science learning objectives, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.

- Develop students’ scientific knowledge, observation skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and curiosity.

- Conduct hands-on activities, simple experiments, demonstrations, and inquiry-based learning sessions.

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, teaching aids, and assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.

- Explain scientific concepts clearly using real-life examples, visual aids, and practical applications.

- Assess students’ learning progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic improvement.

- Maintain academic records, student portfolios, assessment reports, and other required documentation.

- Create an interactive, safe, and engaging classroom workplace that promotes scientific thinking.





- Communicate professionally with parents, colleagues, and school management in spoken and written English.

- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure effective curriculum delivery and continuous improvement in teaching practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Ed. / M.Ed. qualification, preferably with a Science-related degree or specialisation.

- Minimum 3+ years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge-affiliated school.

- Mandatory hands-on, real-time experience with the Cambridge Primary Science Curriculum.

- Strong subject knowledge in primary-level Science, including Biology, Physics, and Chemistry concepts appropriate to the grade level.

- Excellent English communication skills, including fluency, pronunciation, grammar, and classroom instruction.

- Strong formal writing skills for lesson plans, academic reports, emails, worksheets, and other school documentation.

- Good understanding of inquiry-based learning, practical activities, differentiated instruction, and student assessment.

- Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to make scientific concepts simple, engaging, and relevant to everyday life.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with proven experience teaching Science under the Cambridge Primary Curriculum will be given preference.

- Candidates should be confident in conducting practical activities and explaining scientific concepts in fluent English.

- Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and a student-centred approach to teaching.

- Preference will be given to candidates who are not native Telugu speakers, subject to their qualifications, English proficiency, and relevant teaching experience.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
