Job Brief : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Technician to join our Facilities Services team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire safety systems across various client sites. This role demands a thorough understanding of fire safety regulations, technical expertise in fire detection and suppression equipment, and the ability to ensure compliance with national safety standards. The candidate will work closely with facility managers and safety officers to enhance fire safety measures, conduct regular system audits, and respond promptly to any fire safety issues. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management and a commitment to maintaining a safe setting for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire detection and suppression systems including alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety checks to ensure all fire safety equipment is operational and compliant with Indian fire safety codes and standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in fire safety systems, performing timely repairs or coordinating with vendors for specialized services.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.




- Collaborate with facility management and safety teams to develop and implement fire safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff on the proper use and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest fire safety regulations, technologies, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement of fire safety measures.
- Respond promptly to fire safety alarms and incidents, conducting investigations and reporting findings to management.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of fire safety audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
- Ensure all work is performed following health and safety guidelines to minimize risks to personnel and property.
