Meaningful Work From Day One

This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of the Africa region's financial records across legal entities, complying with US GAAP, IFRS, local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and B-F internal policies and procedures. Responsibilities include performing and overseeing Record to Report (R2R) functions (closing, balance sheet reconciliations,



cash flow management, tax compliance), partnering closely with Africa Commercial and Finance teams to provide expert advice on accounting and compliance matters, leading the implementation of recent systems, special projects, and accounting standards for the region, and supporting Regional Controllers in process improvements, internal controls, and ad hoc analysis.

What You Can Expect

• Support and oversee financial accounting, reporting, and analysis activities for Africa markets, including monthly, quarterly, and annual year-end accounting and closing activities.

• Ensure overall accuracy and integrity of financial records for Africa area territories, complying with US GAAP, local statutory requirements, IFRS, tax regulations, and management reporting.

• Partner with Africa Area Commercial and Finance teams to provide accounting guidance and improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
