We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and MongoDB to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You will play a key role in building reliable backend services, improving application performance, and developing robust solutions that support business and product growth. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Node.js.
• Build secure, effective, and well-documented RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
• Design and optimise MongoDB schemas, collections, indexes,



aggregation pipelines, and database queries.
• Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable code following established software engineering principles.
• Implement authentication, authorisation, data validation, error handling, and appropriate security controls.
• Design backend architectures that support high availability, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across APIs, database operations, and application services.
• Integrate third-party APIs, external services, and internal systems.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and application reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
• Collaborate with frontend, Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features efficiently.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
