Job Description
- Provide legal and compliance support to business operations, advising on a wide range of commercial, regulatory, corporate, employment, privacy, and governance matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements and legal documentation to support business objectives and mitigate risk.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive compliance initiatives, risk management activities, internal investigations, and policy implementation.
- Manage disputes, litigation, and external counsel relationships while safeguarding organizational interests and ensuring legal compliance.
- Support corporate governance, stakeholder training, and strategic projects, contributing to effective decision-making and business growth.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A degree in law from a recognized institution.
- Proven expertise in handling legal matters within the manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Experience in legal and compliance frameworks within the Africa and Middle East region.
