About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Closing Representative to support commercial lending operations and help deliver accurate, effective, and well-controlled loan closing activities. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to operational excellence, effective risk management, and a consistent customer experience while partnering with key stakeholders across the business.

In this role, you will:
• Support team effectiveness and coordinate pre-close and post-close documentation for complex commercial real estate loans
• Review and prepare loan-related documents in accordance with established procedures, policies, and compliance requirements
• Perform complex operational activities that require planning, evaluation, interpretation, and sound judgment
• Prioritize work independently and coordinate or facilitate the day-to-day work of other Commercial Loan Closing team members
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to peers, colleagues, and managers on Commercial Loan Closing processes, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements




• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes, controls, and tools within Commercial Loan Closing
• Lead or contribute to the implementation of new or revised processes and procedures in coordination with cross-functional partners

Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years of Commercial Loan Closing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience in handling Loan Syndication processes, including deal setup, funding, borrower servicing, and lender communications.
• Strong working knowledge of Loans IQ, with experience in loan booking, maintenance, payment processing, and transaction management.
• Hands-on experience in Commercial Loan Closing, ensuring accurate documentation review, funding coordination, and adherence to operational procedures.
