As an Onboarding KYX Analyst, you will play an essential role in protecting the integrity of the customer onboarding process by verifying identities, assessing business risks, and ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements. You will conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), to identify potential financial crime risks before customers are onboarded. Using internal systems, public records, and online research, you will gather and evaluate information to support accurate, risk-based decisions. Working within the first line of defence, you will collaborate with colleagues to strengthen compliance standards while delivering a smooth customer experience.

Accountabilities:

• Verify the identities of new customers by collecting, reviewing, and validating relevant documentation, including government-issued identification, proof of address, and business registration records.

• Gather customer information through email communications, internal platforms, and other approved information sources to complete onboarding due diligence.

• Conduct cross-platform research using public records, company registries such as Companies House, social media, and other open-source resources to establish the legitimacy and nature of customer businesses.
