Job Summary
The Fiduciary Accounting Specialist/Sr. Specialist will support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes within the Fiduciary Accounting team. The role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of client and carrier transactions, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and supporting month-end reconciliation activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Process and monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions in line with established procedures.
• Review and allocate incoming cash receipts accurately and on time.
• Support the clearing of unallocated cash and identify items requiring follow-up.
• Prepare and perform account reconciliations,
including investigation and resolution of open items.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payment and receipt-related queries.
• Ensure adherence to fiduciary, compliance, and control requirements.
• Assist with month-end and periodic reporting activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and review purposes.
• Escalate exceptions, discrepancies, and unresolved issues in a timely manner.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
