Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman with experience in the water treatment industry to join our engineering team. You will prepare accurate, detailed mechanical and plumbing drawings and layouts for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software based on engineering inputs.
- Develop coordinated layouts for water treatment plants, including piping, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Interpret and incorporate design changes, redlines, and markups from engineers.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local codes.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and process teams to ensure clash-free designs.
- Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.




- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
- Support site teams with drawing clarifications and updates as needed.

Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a diploma or ITI certification in a mechanical engineering field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman in the water treatment sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and P&IDs.; Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of pumping stations and MEP systems in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ASME, NFPA, IEC).
- Experience with 3D modeling and clash detection.
- Knowledge of P&IDs; and process flow diagrams.
