We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to own and enhance Zoop Energy’s website experience. You will translate business requirements into intuitive, visually engaging and responsive designs while collaborating with product, engineering and marketing teams. From information architecture and wireframes to high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes and developer handoff, you will drive the end-to-end design process while ensuring consistency, usability and performance across devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Website Design: Own end-to-end design of website pages, landing pages, updates and redesigns.
- UX Research: Understand user needs through research, competitor analysis and usability testing.
- Information Architecture: Create intuitive site structures, navigation and user flows.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Responsive Design: Ensure seamless experiences across desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Visual Design & Branding: Create engaging, consistent interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.
- Design Systems: Build and maintain reusable UI components and style guides.
- Developer Collaboration: Work with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.
- Website Optimisation: Improve usability, engagement and conversions using feedback and performance insights.
- Accessibility & Quality: Follow accessibility best practices and review live pages for design consistency.
- Content & Visuals: Collaborate with marketing teams on layouts, graphics and visual assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on website design and responsive web experiences.
- A solid portfolio demonstrating end-to-end website design projects, including wireframes, user flows, prototypes and final UI designs.
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, high-fidelity design, prototyping, components, auto layout and design systems.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, user journeys, interaction design and usability.
- Excellent visual design skills, including typography, colour theory, spacing, layouts, iconography and visual hierarchy.
- Understanding of website navigation, content hierarchy, landing page design and conversion-focused user journeys.
- Familiarity with usability testing, user research, competitor analysis and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to understand implementation constraints and collaborate effectively with developers.
