Job Summary
The Territory Business Manager at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. is responsible for driving sales and market share growth of Pioneer seed products within a defined geographic territory. This role focuses on building solid relationships with key customers, providing agronomic expertise, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales targets for Pioneer seed products.
* Build and maintain strong,
long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers, including growers, dealers, and key influencers.
* Provide expert agronomic advice and product recommendations to customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of local growing conditions, pest management, and crop production practices.
* Conduct on-farm visits, field scouting, and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Pioneer products.
* Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and inform product development.
* Manage and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Collaborate with sales support, marketing, and research teams to ensure effective product positioning and customer service.
* Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage customer data, and forecast sales.
