Role: Storekeeper – Spare Parts Warehouse

What you’ll own:

To maintain accurate inventory levels of automotive parts and assemblies, ensure smooth material flow to and from the production/assembly lines, enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) stock rotation, and keep the warehouse safe and organized.

What you’ll do:
- Receiving and Inspection: Unload incoming shipments of auto components, verify quantities and part numbers against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Challans,



and inspect for transit damage.
- Goods Receipt Note (GRN) & ERP Entry: Log all incoming and outgoing stock into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse management system (WMS).
- Bin Location & Storage Management: Assign systematic shelf or bin locations using part categorization (e.g., fast-moving vs. slow-moving, heavy assemblies vs. small hardware).
- Line Issuance & Dispatch: Issue the exact quantities of automotive parts required by the assembly or repair lines based on authorized requisitions or job cards.
- Inventory Control & Audits: Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock reconciliations to match system inventory with physical floor stock.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Ensure proper stacking rules (heavy items low, light items high), compliance with fire safety protocols, clean walkways, and proper use of material-handling equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts.
