We are looking for an individual to lead SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering) for Assembly sites (OSAT sites).
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Quality Management & Liaison: Act as the primary quality interface between suppliers and Renesas, ensuring alignment with quality requirements, business objectives, and customer expectations. Serve as the regional SQE focal point for assigned suppliers and manufacturing sites.
- Quality Excursion Management & Corrective Actions: Lead investigations of quality excursions across internal operations, suppliers, and customers using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D), and drive effective containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions to closure.
- Supplier Audit, Certification & Change Control:: Plan and execute supplier audit programs, lead supplier certification activities, and ensure effective management of process, material, and site changes.
- Supplier Assessment, Qualification & Performance Management: Lead supplier assessments and qualifications for current subcontractors, manage supplier quality rating and performance through KPIs and scorecards, and drive improvement actions to achieve Renesas quality objectives.
- Continuous Improvement Leadership: Lead quality improvement initiatives, analyze quality trends and systemic risks, manage supplier escalation activities, and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive sustainable improvements across supplier operations.
- Training & Best Practice Deployment: Drive supplier quality capability development through training, coaching, and deployment of best-known methods and quality management practices.
