About BizVidya

BizVidya is an EdTech venture focused on building technology-driven learning experiences and digital education solutions. We aim to develop a scalable platform that connects learners with structured educational content, practical learning resources, and personalised learning experiences.

We are looking for a Full-Stack App Developer to take ownership of building and scaling BizVidya's technology platform, from application architecture and user interfaces to backend systems, integrations, and deployment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web and mobile applications for learners, educators, and administrators.

- Frontend & Backend Engineering: Build intuitive user interfaces and robust backend services, APIs, databases, authentication systems, and application infrastructure.

- Learning Platform Development: Develop features such as user registration, course management, learning modules, assessments, progress tracking, certifications, subscriptions, and dashboards as required by the product roadmap.

- Learning Experience & Personalisation: Support the development of personalised learning journeys, learner analytics, recommendation systems, and AI-enabled educational features where appropriate.

- Database & System Architecture: Design scalable database structures, secure data flows, reusable components, and maintainable application architecture.

- Third-Party Integrations: Integrate payment gateways, video conferencing, learning content delivery, communication tools, analytics, and other relevant services.

- Testing, Security & Deployment: Conduct application testing, debug issues, implement security best practices, manage deployment,



and maintain application performance and reliability.

- Product Collaboration & Ownership: Work with the founding team to translate business requirements into technical specifications, define development priorities, and deliver an effective MVP while contributing to long-term technology strategy.

Ideal Candidate

- Solid experience in full-stack application development and software architecture.

- Proficiency in technologies such as React, Next.js, React Native, Flutter, Node.js, Python, or equivalent frameworks.

- Experience with REST APIs, databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, authentication, cloud deployment, and version control.

- Familiarity with LMS platforms, EdTech products, SaaS applications, or AI-enabled learning tools is an advantage.

- Ability to independently build, test, deploy, and maintain production-ready applications.

- Strong problem-solving skills, product thinking, and willingness to take ownership in an early-stage venture.

Equity-Only Engagement Terms

- This is an equity-only founding team opportunity, with no fixed salary at the current stage.

- Expected commitment: 20–25 hours per week.

- There is no guaranteed salary or immediate cash compensation. Any future salary arrangement will depend on funding, revenue, and mutual agreement.

- Equity allocation will be discussed based on technical expertise, contribution, ownership of deliverables, and long-term commitment.

- Core founding team equity will be subject to a five-year vesting structure and mutually agreed terms.

- The selected candidate will have the opportunity to shape BizVidya's technology architecture, product development, and long-term growth.
