Role Description The Account Assistant at VAR Security is a full time, on-site role based in Panvel. This role supports the finance and accounts function through daily tasks such as recording transactions, assisting with invoice processing, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The Account Assistant manages petty cash, supports credit control activities, and helps reconcile accounts to ensure timely payments and collections. This position involves preparing basic financial reports, coordinating with internal teams and external partners,



and maintaining organized documentation. The role requires consistent follow-up, clear communication, and careful attention to detail to support smooth financial operations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Finance to handle daily transaction entries, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Credit Control to support monitoring outstanding payments, following up with clients, and maintaining updated receivables records.
• Candidates should possess skills in managing Petty Cash, including tracking expenses, maintaining logs, and ensuring accurate cash balances.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients in a clear and professional manner.
