Sr Software Engineer II leads the full software development lifecycle, ensures technical excellence and adherence to best practices, mentors and coaches junior engineers, and collaborates cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities
• Supervises and mentors Software Engineers and cross-functional team of colleagues in specific tasks or projects, fostering their professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices
• Provides mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Leads the entire lifecycle of software applications and systems, ensuring high-quality delivery from inception to deployment
• Directs the technical aspects of projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
• Reviews code for accuracy, quality, and adherence to best practices, offering constructive feedback
• Establishes and enforces coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices within the team
• Identifies and resolves performance bottlenecks,

• Facilitates collaboration with cross-functional teams to support changes and implementations, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
• Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives

Qualifications
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, NoSQL, and relational databases
Knowledge of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
Work Experience:
• 10+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent level based on role requirements) with a robust focus on Java-based application development.
