About the Role
As an IT Security Analyst, you will help protect critical financial systems by supporting network security operations across firewall, VPN, and multi-factor authentication environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain secure access, strengthen security controls, and respond to emerging threats. This role combines security operations, network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and policy management to ensure secure and reliable services. Success in this role is measured by the effectiveness of security controls, service availability, operational excellence, and timely resolution of security issues.
What You Will Be Doing
• Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise firewall, VPN, and authentication technologies.
• Implement and manage security controls to protect systems, networks, and sensitive information.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize next-generation firewall platforms and security policies.
• Investigate security events, analyze logs, and troubleshoot network and security issues.
• Support vulnerability remediation and contribute to threat detection and response activities.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand and address security requirements.
• Review firewall rules and network configurations to align with security standards and best practices.
• Support secure routing, switching, NAT, VPN, and network segmentation initiatives.
• Assist with project implementations, system upgrades, and customer escalations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes, documentation, and operational procedures.
