About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer - IOS (IC3) to join Procore’s mobile engineering team, working on the Drawings tool and the Unified Viewer on iOS. In this role, you’ll drive the technical evolution of how field and office teams open, compare, and annotate large technical documents on their phones and tablets, often offline. Your primary goal is to design, build, and operate rapid, reliable, offline-first solutions while using AI-assisted engineering practices to raise the speed and quality of delivery.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll partner with product managers, designers, and Android, web, and backend engineers to deliver features on a shared viewing and annotation foundation, and mentor team members on technical craft. Key Responsibilities
• Architectural Leadership: Design, build, and maintain iOS applications across the Drawings tool and the Unified Viewer. Lead complex architectural evolution while balancing operational delivery with long-term system performance.
• Feature Execution & AI Integration: Own feature lifecycles end-to-end, from technical design through staged rollout. Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while applying engineering guardrails to maintain code quality.
• Offline-First Data & Sync: Build and improve sync, download, and annotation flows that stay correct on poor connectivity, covering concurrent sync modes, accurate progress, durable upload queues, and local state that matches what’s on disk.
• Testing & Reliability: Define test strategies and acceptance criteria before implementation, including unit, snapshot, and concurrency-deterministic tests
