About Evinya EnergyEvinya Energy is a battery manufacturing and renewable energy solutions company focused on lithium battery systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Designer who can design battery enclosures, inverter cabinets, and other energy storage product housings. The designs will be sent directly for manufacturing, so we need someone with hands-on experience creating production-ready designs, not just 3D models.

Key Responsibilities• Design battery boxes, battery pack enclosures, inverter cabinets, and BESS housings.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Prepare production-ready CAD files with accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and manufacturing details.
• Design components suitable for sheet metal fabrication, bending, welding, machining, and other manufacturing processes.
• Select appropriate materials,



sheet thicknesses, fasteners, mounting arrangements, and enclosure structures.
• Coordinate with manufacturing vendors and production teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
• Modify designs based on prototype testing, manufacturing feedback, and product requirements.
• Ensure proper space allocation for battery cells, BMS, wiring, connectors, cooling, and other components.

Requirements• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical CAD design and product development.
• Strong proficiency in software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent.
• Proven experience designing manufacturing-ready sheet metal enclosures, cabinets, or industrial product housings.
• Positive understanding of sheet metal fabrication, GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering drawings.
