A Day in the Life
Shared Services Engineering owns Medtronic’s enterprise software development platforms, including GitHub, GitLab, and Atlassian services that support engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams globally. The team is responsible for delivering secure, governed, and scalable source code management capabilities that enable product development across the enterprise.
This position is based in Hyderabad, India and follows a Flex/Hybrid work model. No travel is required.

As a Software Dev Ops Engineer II, you will help establish, secure, and operate Medtronic’s GitHub Enterprise Cloud platform.



This role focuses on enterprise platform administration, security governance, automation, operational resilience, and migration activities that enable development teams to securely manage source code and software delivery processes at scale. You will partner with engineering, security, quality, and regulatory stakeholders to build a supportable and compliant platform that serves global users.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Administer and maintain GitHub Enterprise Cloud across enterprise, organization, and repository levels.
• Establish and enforce platform standards for repository governance, rulesets, branch protection, and delegated administration.
• Manage identity and access controls, including Single Sign-On (SSO), automated provisioning, privileged access management, and access reviews.
