Worlder TEAM is a company under Worlder Group that aims to enable companies in the SME industry to bring their businesses to the global market. Worlder TEAM spearheads the development of efficient and effective IT solutions.

Roles and responsibilities

Worlder TEAM’s current focus is on developing a suite of mobile and web apps with novel integrated solutions from our R&D; team to help small businesses access global markets. As a small company with a focus on R&D; at the moment, we are looking for a junior web and mobile QA engineer who can grow with the company. The engineer is expected to be working with other developers to ensure the quality of mobile and web apps.

The responsibilities include

1. Understand product requirements thoroughly to ensure comprehensive test coverage
2. Help to continuously improve the existing QA framework
3. Prepare test data, test plan, and test cases to test the applications (mobile & web) based on the technical and business specifications
4. Perform QA tests (functional, non-functional, regression & end-to-end testing) on both the mobile and web applications
5. Document test results
6. Report and communicate issues to developers
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies

Mandatory requirements:

1. Strong technical background with 0-2 years of experience in performing QA for web and mobile applications.
2. Solid and in-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes (Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Bug Life Cycle, Black box,



White-box testing, agile, and waterfall methodologies)
3. Familiarity with command line testing or tools (shell scripting) .
4. Experience in any object-oriented programming languages (Java, Golang) or any script languages (Python, Shell).
5. Ability to understand application requirements comprehensively
6. Valuable bug reporting and issue documentation skills
7. Working knowledge of technology such as Android and iOS, and web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and others.
8. Knowledgeable in cross-platform compatibility testing
9. Teamwork and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job

Good to Have:

1. Familiarity with version control systems like git
2. Familiarity with AI tools
3. Familiarity with shell scripting and basic Javascript/Typescript programming
4. Familiarity with testing tools such as postman, selenium, playwright, etc
5. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, etc
6. Familiarity with API testing both manual and automated

It is a bonus if you have the following skills (you can pick them up on the job):

1. Server Language: Golang
2. Frontend Language: JavaScript & TypeScript
3. Frontend Frameworks: React Native & ReactJS
4. API testing: REST, graphQL, Protobuff, Contract testing
5. Infrastructure: AWS & Docker
6. CI/CD tool: Jenkins
