Overview
We are currently looking for a Food Technologist - New Product Development (FMCG) Assistant Manager in Mumbai, to help us innovate new products for tiffin snacks & meals for children aged 3 - 12 years old. If you are an experienced skilled professional with a passion for thinking & developing new food products for kids and a commitment to delivering fun for kids, then we want to definitely hear from you

This role involves working at our in-house kitchen or leading R&D; events, along side food technicians and process technologists to design recent dishes and food products that meet consumer trends and market demands. The role requires strong management, coordination, and execution skills to ensure
timely product launches, consistent quality, efficient production,



supplier coordination, and
effective team management.

Key Responsibilities
Manage product development from formulation and trials to commercialization and
launch.
• Coordinate product trials, sampling, packaging, shelf-life testing, and approvals.
• Ensure products meet quality, cost, and launch timelines.
• Manufacturing Feasibility: Ensure that developed recipes can be efficiently produced from kitchen to the shelf using factory processes while maintaining cost-effectiveness and product quality.
• Identify and coordinate with suppliers for ingredients, seasonings, premixes, and packaging materials.
• Manage sampling, trials, quotations, follow-ups, and supplier quality issues.
• Ensure timely availability of approved materials in coordination with procurement.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all new products comply with local and international food safety regulations.
