About MITE
Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE) is an autonomous institution known for academic excellence and innovation in engineering and management education. Established in 2007 under the Rajalaxmi Education Trust, MITE has grown to over 4,600 students and 190 faculty members, with a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, MCA and research programmes.

About the Role
Every week, MITE’s students, faculty and alumni do things worth talking about. We want someone who can find those stories and tell them well.

As our Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you will lead the College’s day-to-day digital content and social media communications. You will be the bridge between what happens on campus (academic achievements, student life, placements, research,



industry engagement and events) and MITE’s digital presence. You will work closely with academic departments, faculty, and teams such as Admissions, Training & Placement, Alumni Relations and Administration. Together, you will identify and promote the stories that strengthen MITE’s visibility, reputation and institutional voice, so that prospective students, parents, recruiters and alumni see what makes us stand out.

This is a strategic communications role, not just a posting job. Guided by MITE’s long-term strategic plan to 2028, you will shape how the institution is seen by students, parents, recruiters and industry. You will report directly to the director of Administrations / Management.
