2. Job Purpose
The Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Technology is responsible for delivering quality education, conducting research, and contributing to academic and institutional development. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding students in projects, promoting innovation and industry-oriented learning, and contributing to research, consultancy, and cooperative initiatives in computer engineering and related disciplines.
3. Key Accountabilities
A. Academic Responsibilities
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and laboratory sessions as per the assigned workload and academic schedule.
• Teach subjects related to Computer Engineering and Technology, such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning,



Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, and other relevant subjects, as assigned.
• Contribute to curriculum development, revision, and implementation in alignment with industry requirements and emerging technologies.
• Develop course materials, lesson plans, presentations, laboratory exercises, and assessment tools.
• Prepare question papers, evaluate answer sheets, conduct examinations, and maintain academic records as per university guidelines.
• Integrate practical learning, case studies, coding exercises, projects, and technology-based applications into teaching.
• Participate in academic audits, accreditation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), hackathons, and technical events.
