Role Description The Lead Physical Design Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for driving end-to-end physical implementation of complex ASIC designs. Day-to-day tasks include floorplanning, place-and-route, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, and power optimization, while closely collaborating with RTL, circuit,



and logic design teams. The role involves overseeing physical verification, resolving design-rule and layout-versus-schematic issues, and ensuring that designs meet performance, power, and area targets. The engineer will guide junior team members, contribute to methodology improvements, interface with cross-functional stakeholders, and support tape-out activities for advanced technology nodes.
Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Physical Design, including floorplanning, place-and-route, CTS, timing closure, and power/area optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Physical Verification, including DRC, LVS, and sign-off checks using industry-standard EDA tools.
• Solid understanding of Logic Design and Circuit Design principles, including combinational/sequential logic, timing, and power trade-offs.
• Proficiency in RTL Design concepts, constraints, and handoff processes to backend implementation
