Role Overview: The Business Development Manager – Educational Sales will be responsible for driving course sales by engaging with CXO-level professionals, senior executives, business leaders, and other experienced candidates. This role focuses on identifying potential learners, understanding their career aspirations and leadership development needs, and recommending relevant professional courses, executive education programs, and certification offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, outbound outreach, and other business development channels. The role involves engaging with CXOs, senior management professionals, and experienced candidates to understand their learning objectives and pitch relevant courses by highlighting their value, industry relevance, career advancement opportunities, and leadership development benefits.
The individual will collaborate with marketing and academic teams to develop targeted sales strategies, improve lead conversion,
and promote course offerings to the right audience. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking sales performance, preparing pipeline forecasts, and representing the organization at corporate networking events, industry forums, and professional networking platforms to expand its reach among senior-level professionals.
