We’re Hiring | Assistant Tax Manager

RSA is looking for an experienced tax skilled to manage our tax function end to end across warehousing, cargo and container handling, maintenance and repairs, transportation, and storage services.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will own direct and indirect tax compliance across all state registrations, working closely with statutory and tax auditors and external consultants.

Key responsibilities
• Manage multi-state GST compliance, including returns, ITC reconciliations, IMS review, e-invoicing and e-way bills.
• Review GST treatment across logistics services, including rates, exemptions, place of supply and reverse-charge requirements.
• Handle GST refunds, LUT filings, notices, audits and assessments.
• Manage corporate income tax, advance tax, TDS/TCS compliance and withholding on foreign remittances.
• Coordinate tax audits, assessments and appeals, and support transfer pricing documentation where applicable.
• Review customer and vendor contracts for tax implications and advise management on regulatory changes.




• Support tax provisioning, MAT and deferred tax during financial closures.
• Maintain the compliance calendar, strengthen tax controls and ensure accurate reconciliations and an audit-ready trail.

What we’re looking for
• Qualification: CA preferred; CMA or M.Com candidates with strong tax exposure will also be considered.
• Experience: 4–6 years across both direct and indirect tax.
• Industry experience: Logistics and transportation experience is mandatory, including trucking, CFS/ICD, container handling or warehousing. Candidates must meet this requirement to be considered.
• Systems: Proficiency in Tally, Zoho, GST portal, TRACES, Income Tax portal and advanced Excel.
• Skills: Strong multi-state GST compliance, reconciliation, notice drafting and audit coordination capabilities.
• Approach: Analytical, detail-oriented and confident working with auditors and consultants.
