HAAT INDIA is building a modern digital destination for authentic Indian traditional products, connecting regional crafts and artisans with customers worldwide.
We’re looking for an SEO & Organic Growth Intern to help us improve our search visibility, optimize our ecommerce website and grow organic traffic and sales.
What you'll work on
• On-Page SEO for product and category pages
• Optimizing product titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings and URLs
• Keyword research for products, crafts, regions and categories
• Internal linking and website content structure
• Image ALT text and basic image SEO
• Optimizing product descriptions for both customers and search engines
• SEO optimization of new and existing products
• Google Search Console monitoring and analysis
• Identifying opportunities to improve organic rankings and traffic
• Competitor and keyword research
• Creating SEO-friendly blog and content ideas
• Finding opportunities for organic traffic through content and other channels
• Tracking SEO performance, rankings, clicks,
impressions and organic growth
What we're looking for
• Basic understanding of SEO and On-Page SEO
• Good research and analytical skills
• Good written English and attention to detail
• Interest in ecommerce and digital marketing
• Comfortable working with Google Sheets/Excel
• Willingness to learn SEO tools and analytics
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
Good to have: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, WordPress/WooCommerce, Rank Math/Yoast, keyword research tools, basic HTML, content writing or ecommerce experience.
Time Commitment: 10 hours/week

This is an unpaid internship at the current stage.
You will get hands-on experience working on a live ecommerce website, direct exposure to SEO, ecommerce growth and a growing D2C brand, along with the opportunity to work closely with the founding team.
