ABOUT BAROMETER

Barometer Technologies is a Mumbai company that helps food and beverage businesses control their inventory and costs. We are a software company that goes beyond software: every client gets our products and a dedicated operations expert.

Our two products are MATS, for kitchen, store and outlet inventory, and Bar, for bar, pub and club inventory. They cover purchase, recipe costing, stock counts, wastage, pour cost and reports. They connect with tools that our clients already use, for example Petpooja, UrbanPiper, Tally and Zoho Books.

Our team also does the hands-on work: data audits, onboarding, monthly expert reviews, SOPs and custom reports. More than 300 outlets use Barometer. They include restaurants, bars, cafés, bakeries, QSRs, cloud kitchens and fine-dine groups such as The Bombay Canteen and Khar Gymkhana.

Our buyers are restaurant owners, chefs and bar managers.



So our content is about food, drink, and the money behind both.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You own Barometer's social media, from the strategy to the last post. You decide what we post, where, and why. Then you make it happen: you plan the calendar, make the creatives, post on time, and measure the results.

You work closely with the sales team, so our content brings in real enquiries from restaurant owners. The strategy, the execution and the results are all yours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own the strategy
• Set the social media strategy for Barometer: the goals, the platforms, the content themes, the formats and how often we post.
• Agree targets for reach, engagement, follower growth and leads with the Head of Sales.
• Turn the strategy into a monthly content plan, and present it before the month starts.
• Track what competitors and F&B; brands post. Bring recent ideas to the team.
