Position Overview
Conduct digital and cyber forensic examinations, evidence acquisition and analysis, and support forensic investigations and reporting. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience in digital/cyber forensics
preferred experience: State or Central Government recognized forensic laboratory.

Job
Responsibilities
Perform forensic acquisition, preservation, examination and analysis of computers, storage media, mobile devices and other digital evidence. Analyse operating-system and application artefacts, logs, file systems and deleted data. Establish & Maintain chain of custody and evidence integrity, prepare forensic reports, and support court proceedings/expert testimony when required.

Eligibility
Master’s degree in Forensic Science (Specialisation in Cyber/Digital)/ Cyber/Digital Forensics/Cyber Security/Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Security or a related discipline.



Minimum 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience and preferred experience in a State or Central Government recognised forensic laboratory are required. CHFI certification is mandatory.

Desirable
FACT qualification/certification in Digital Forensics is desirable. Hands-on experience with recognised forensic tools such as FTK, Autopsy, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, Belkasoft, X-Ways and Cellebrite etc., is preferred.

Travel
As and when required, for project monitoring and execution as well as for coordination with geographically distributed teams.
