Job SummaryWe are seeking a results-driven General Manager – Sales and Logistics to lead sales growth, distribution expansion, team performance, and end-to-end logistics operations. The candidate will ensure efficient product availability, timely deliveries, cost control, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities• Develop sales strategies, revenue plans, and territory-wise targets.
• Expand and manage distributor, stockist, wholesale, and retail networks.
• Drive sales across General Trade, Contemporary Trade, and institutional channels.
• Lead sales teams, monitor performance, and ensure target achievement.
• Identify new markets and monitor competitor activities.
• Oversee transportation, fleet utilisation, delivery routes, and logistics costs.
• Coordinate inventory, warehousing, dispatch, and product availability.
• Align sales forecasts with production and stock requirements.
• Monitor customer payments, outstanding receivables, and credit limits.
• Prepare sales, inventory, logistics, and performance reports for management.
• Improve operational efficiency,



profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in FMCG sales, distribution, and logistics management.
• Experience in sales team leadership, distributor management, and target achievement.
• Knowledge of inventory control, transportation, demand forecasting, and collections.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.
• Experience in packaged foods, flour, staples, or agro-food manufacturing is preferred.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
