We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automated testing using Playwright with TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing test strategies, developing robust automation frameworks, executing functional and regression testing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Perform manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Create and execute test cases, test plans, and scenarios based on business requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, track, and report defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain and improve automation frameworks for scalability and reliability.
- Participate in requirements analysis, sprint planning, and QA reviews.
- Support software quality through continuous testing and process improvements.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software testing.
- Strong experience with Playwright automation.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
- Solid experience in manual testing.
- Robust understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing and defect-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Exposure to performance or cross-browser testing is an advantage.
