About the Role

We are looking for a creative, trend-focused Video Editor to join our influencer marketing agency in Adyar, Chennai. You will edit engaging short- and long-form video content for brands and social media influencers.

Key Responsibilities

- Short-form editing: Turn creators' raw footage into Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media clips.
- Trend adaptation: Keep up with internet culture, meme formats, and trending audio, and incorporate them into brand campaigns.
- Post-production: Enhance videos with motion graphics, captions and subtitles, sound effects (SFX), and color grading.
- Content strategy: Collaborate with the influencer marketing and creative teams to brainstorm video formats and deliver against client briefs.
- Asset management: Organize and archive project files, raw footage, and final deliverables.

Requirements and Skills
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro,



After Effects, and CapCut Desktop.
- Experience: 2+ years editing digital content, ideally in an agency setting or directly with content creators.
- Portfolio: A showreel or link demonstrating short-form video edits, pacing, and kinetic typography is required.
- Industry knowledge: Understanding of social media platform algorithms and visual styles, including pacing, hooks, and retention editing.
- Education: A degree or diploma in Visual Communication (Viscom), film, or multimedia is preferred but not required.
