Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller for a 4-month contract to provide loan staffing support. This role involves managing end-to-end accounting operations, month-end close, MIS reporting, compliance, audit support, and process improvement. You will support a growing business with an annual turnover of INR 60–100 crore and a workforce of more than 700 employees. A key aspect of the role is supporting the migration from Tally ERP to Oracle Fusion, including reporting automation and dashboard development.

The role is primarily on-site at the Hyderabad office during India shift hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and improve monthly, quarterly, and annual book-close activities, aiming to reduce the close timeline from the 15th to the 5th of the month.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, management reporting packs, financial statements, cash-flow statements, and budget-versus-actual analyses with variance explanations.
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor accounting, accounts receivable, billing, collections support, payroll accounting, general ledger accounting, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate tax and statutory compliance activities and provide supervisory review.
- Support external statutory and internal audits by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and tracking resolutions.
- Assist with Oracle Fusion migration readiness, focusing on accounting process alignment, user requirements, reporting structures, and Oracle BI dashboard development.
- Drive process automation initiatives,



including banking and reporting automation, to improve finance operations.
- Collaborate with the CFO and in-house finance lead on reviews, approvals, and escalations.

Required Skills and Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in finance controllership, accounting operations, month-end closing, and MIS reporting, preferably in mid-sized or growth-stage companies.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion and Oracle BI reporting or dashboard development. Tally ERP and ERP migration experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP reporting requirements.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, general ledger, reconciliations, statutory compliance coordination, and audit support.
- Ability to design and document SOPs and internal controls, and identify process automation opportunities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to work effectively with CFO-level stakeholders.
- Ability to independently manage a broad finance scope while following client approval and review protocols.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing accounting operations in a listed holding-company environment, with a focus on current books and reporting discipline.
- Comfort working primarily in office to collaborate with the in-house finance team, improve close timelines, strengthen processes, and support the Oracle Fusion transition.

Reporting Structure

This role reports to the client's finance leadership, with the CFO holding key approval authority. Manager-level review will provide quality control and support.
