The Opportunity: Lab Technician

We are seeking an experienced Lab Technician specializing in Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, and Hematology to join our team in India.

How You Will Make an Impact

Conduct diagnostic tests, analyze results, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure the accuracy and quality of test outcomes. The ideal candidate has experience performing tests using both manual and automated instruments.

What You Will Do

- Perform diagnostic tests in Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, and Hematology using manual and automated instruments.
- Prepare patient samples for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain automated laboratory instruments, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Calibrate equipment and conduct quality control checks to support accurate and reliable results.
- Analyze and interpret test results, record findings accurately, and prepare reports for review by medical professionals.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean,



organized work setting to prevent cross-contamination.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to support efficient workflows and timely test results.
- Assist with developing and implementing testing methods and protocols as required.
- Stay up to date on laboratory techniques, equipment, and relevant scientific research.
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain proficiency.
- Follow company policies, guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Manage and optimize turnaround time (TAT) for diagnostic tests.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Technology (MLT), DMLT, BMLT, or equivalent.
- 4–6 years of experience as a Lab Technician in a diagnostic laboratory, with a focus on Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, and Hematology.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated laboratory instruments used in diagnostic testing.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require.
