Role Description The Commis 1 Tandoor role is a full-time, on-site position based at an IHCL property in Kumarakom.



The role involves preparing and cooking tandoor dishes in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Responsibilities include assisting in menu preparation, marination, and mise en place for tandoor items, while maintaining consistent taste and quality. The Commis 1 Tandoor is expected to follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients, and keep the tandoor section clean and organized. The role also requires coordinating with the culinary team, supporting senior chefs during service, and contributing to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Food Preparation and Cooking, with specific experience in tandoor operations and related Culinary Skills.
