BUSINESS UNIT DESCRIPTION:
Finance Technology provides technology solutions and support to CIBC’s Finance business, enabling effective governance, decision support, and operational excellence. The team delivers and maintains robust, scalable, and innovative applications that support financial, regulatory,



and management reporting, as well as other critical finance functions across the organization.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Application Consultant is responsible for leading the planning, technical design, development, and integration of complex, enterprise-scale applications within the Finance Technology team. This role assembles, implements, and maintains flexible and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience, while ensuring alignment with CIBC’s digital transformation strategy and business objectives.
