About The Role

THE SWAYAMVAR is looking for a target-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to manage multiple retail stores and drive sales growth, store profitability, team productivity, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in retail sales management, multi-store operations, team leadership, and sales performance analysis. Experience in fashion, ethnic wear, apparel, or organised retail will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across assigned stores.
• Monitor store-wise sales performance, target achievement, and business growth.
• Manage Store Managers and sales teams to improve productivity and performance.




• Conduct regular store visits and ensure compliance with operational SOPs.
• Monitor inventory, stock availability, stock ageing, and stock audits.
• Improve Average Bill Value (ABV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), and sales conversion.
• Ensure excellent customer service and improve customer satisfaction and Google reviews.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards across all stores.
• Analyse MIS reports, sales performance, and store profitability.
• Monitor attendance, manpower availability, staff grooming, and discipline.
• Track competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
• Coordinate with the Head Office, HR, MIS, warehouse, and other departments.

Required Skills

• Solid retail sales and multi-store management experience.
• Excellent team-handling and leadership skills.
• Good analytical skills and understanding of retail KPIs.
• Proficiency in sales reporting and MIS analysis.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and execution
