Overview.
We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer to support day-to-day engineering design activities within a structured and high-performing engineering organization.
This role provides an opportunity to apply strong engineering fundamentals while contributing to reliable, manufacturable, and lifecycle-driven design solutions that meet stringent aerospace standards.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities (Core & Day-to-Day)
• Support all day-to-day mechanical design activities for assigned engineering programs in alignment with organizational standards and project schedules.
• Create and maintain 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using UG NX.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), tolerance analysis, and material selection best practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Site Program Engineers to resolve design issues.
• Support concept development, design maturation, and release activities across the product lifecycle.
