We are looking for a creative, trend-savvy and research-driven Social Media Executive who understands what’s trending, why it’s working, and how to turn market insights into impactful social media campaigns.
The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of social media platforms, competitor strategies, content planning and campaign development, with the ability to translate trends and consumer insights into engaging brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Content Planning
• Develop and manage monthly social media content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
• Identify content opportunities aligned with brand objectives, audience behaviour and emerging trends.
• Work closely with creative teams to develop engaging posts, reels, carousels and campaign ideas.
• Ensure timely execution, scheduling and publishing of content.
2. Trend Research & Market Intelligence
• Actively track emerging social media trends, viral content, platform updates and consumer behaviour.
• Conduct regular market research to identify fresh content ideas, cultural moments and campaign opportunities.
• Translate relevant trends and insights into actionable social media concepts and brand campaigns.
• Stay updated on what competing brands and industry leaders are doing differently.
3. Competitor Analysis & Campaign Development
• Conduct detailed competitor analysis, covering content strategies, campaigns, engagement patterns and creative approaches.
• Benchmark brand performance and identify gaps and opportunities.
• Use competitor intelligence and market insights to contribute to campaign ideation and development.
• Develop topical, seasonal and trend-led campaign concepts.
4. Content Calendar Development
• Independently create structured monthly and weekly content calendars.
• Plan a balanced mix of promotional, engagement-driven, educational and topical content.
