Job Description: PRT English
Location: Panipat, Haryana

Key Responsibilities
• Teach English to students of Classes III–V as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Teach English grammar, vocabulary, sentence formation, comprehension, prose, and poetry.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials according to the prescribed syllabus.
• Use interactive, activity-based, and child-centric teaching methods to make learning engaging.
• Conduct regular assessments, class tests, and activities to evaluate students’ academic progress.
• Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support to students where required.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Encourage students to communicate confidently in English and participate in classroom discussions and activities.




• Maintain students’ academic records and provide regular feedback to parents regarding their progress.
• Participate in school assemblies, events, meetings, and other co-curricular activities.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in English or a relevant subject from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teacher-training qualification, as applicable to the post and current CBSE/NCTE eligibility requirements.
• Positive command of spoken and written English.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of child-centred teaching methodologies and primary-level English pedagogy.

Experience Required
• Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school is preferred.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching skills may also be considered.
